HARTLEY HAMPTON: Obviously, everybody makes mistakes. But according to the National Institute of Health, there are about 100,000 people that die every year from mistakes that are made in hospitals. When someone's life is changed forever because of a medical mistake, we think they are well within their rights to take legal measures. And that's what we do. I've been handling medical malpractice cases since the year I was licensed in 1977. Sometimes our clients come to us just wondering if something went wrong.
